PROJECT CUSTOM MERCH VAN
2019 Dodge Ram 2500 Custom Build for Charleston Battery Soccer Club
Utilizing a brand new Dodge Ram 2500 van for this build meant there was less time spent removing the typical rust, damage and bent sheet metal we usually encounter when doing vintage truck builds. This project was a bit different in that respect, but with the same creativity and fabrication skill applied in everything we do. Highlights of this project include a custom merchandising wall that holds t-shirts, hats and other items for sale. The driver side has two serving windows with hydraulic shocks that hold them open, with a wood countertop over a custom metal cabint unit that runs the full length of the back of the van. Each cabinet includes locking doors for safe transport. Stainless steel panels line the roof, with LED lighting included along the seams. Upholstered trim completes the interior for a finished look and provides safety cushioning where needed. Metal wire cages separate the driver and passenger compartment and also the rear doors, and provide additional space to hang merchandise. Electrical outlets are strategically located for convenience and utlity, as well as an external outlet access for plugging in to shore power where available. A custom wrap was applied to the exterior of the van for branding purposes and protection of the vehicle's finish. You'll find this van outside all of the home games for the Charleston Battery soccer club
